Ive been playing on and off for 10+ years…and am now playing professionally.  I have used the same set up for the last 8 years or so and its worked for me, but its time for a change.  Im seriously bored and having a heck of time trying to figure out where im going.  So I will tell you that my new band plays everything.  Literally.  We go from Theory of a Deadman to Lynyrd Skynyrd to Toby Keith to Dierks to SRV…and becuase of the huge tonal differences i have a ton of equipment.  I want to cut down on equipment and become more tonally sound.  So.  Here is my setup, beginning at the guitar:

Digitech Tone Driver (set up to sound like a T9)

Tube Screamer

Line 6 Modulation Modeler (MM4)

Boss EQ

Boss Echo

Danelectro Corned Beef Echo

 

Then to my Mesa DC-5 which i love the drive channel on and play through a Peavey M212 upright 212…or my Fender Blues Jr. depending on where we are. 

Im really just sick of hauling it all around.  Id love to have an amp with the Fender Clean, Mesa dirty and then an inbetween i can use for rock and such and drive for the semi dirty stuff and the telecaster stuff. 

 

I want to hear everyones opinions and options, im open to everything. Thanks
