| New Michael Angelo Batio Signature Model Guitar |
June 28, 2006 |

Michael Angelo Batio, a world-renowned progressive rock guitarist, is set to release his new signature Dean model during the 2007 Winter NAMM show in Anaheim, CA. The guitar will be available sometime during fall of 2006.
Michael mentioned that: "The body shape and design of my new signature guitar has been finalized. It will not be debuting at the Summer NAMM show but at the Winter NAMM in January of 2007. It should be available though in the fall of this year. The first prototypes are being made now. Here is what I can say about the guitar. It is going to compete with and be a great alternative to guitars like Ibanez. The body style is a double cutaway, very sleek, it has 24 frets and a Floyd Rose, locking trem. Sorry for the long wait, but I have been on the road so much this year that it made scheduling design sessions hard."
As previously reported, Michael Angelo Batio's second solo CD, "Planet Gemini", has been remastered with never-before-heard instrumental versions of the songs "So Much to Live For" and "These Four Walls" added. There is also an additional track as well. You can find more information at Blabbermouth. |
