Electro-Harmonix Releases Synthesizer March 29, 2006
Electro-Harmonix Hog Synthesizer
Electro-Harmonix has released the HOG electric guitar synthesizer.

The HOG provides polyphonic, harmonic regeneration of chords with no glitches and no special pickup needed.

10 faders control the mix of the following harmonic intervals for creating totally new textures:
  • 2 octaves down
  • 1 ocatve down
  • Original chord
  • 1 fifth up
  • 1 octave up
  • 1 octave + one fifth
  • 2 octaves up
  • 2 octaves + a third
  • 3 octaves up
  • 4 octaves up
Massage new harmonic structures with the HOG's two dual envelope attack/release generators operating on two independent harmonic regions. Plug in an external expression pedal to control octave and step bends, gliss, chord freeze, and filter. Optional Remote Footswitch Controller stores/recalls 6 user presets.
