| T-Rex Introduces RoomMate Reverb Pedal |
July 15, 2006 |
Just in time for the Summer NAMM Show, T-Rex has unveiled their two new pedals - the RoomMate and the Bloody Mary.
The RoomMate is the sweet-sounding reverb pedal. Four guitar reverb presets are only the start of the rich, warm sound that this box delivers. A built-in 300 volt power supply takes the whole effect to the next level - powering a T-Rex tube that adds a voluminous, earthy warmth to incredible detail and spacious true stereo.
To shape your sound further, the RoomMate features a mix control and a high cut knob for increasing definition or backing off on the highs, vintage style. And there is naturally a stereo out for the studio or stereo live situations.

| Latest Forum Thread - Stringing over the tail piece |
Anyone know if stringing over the tail piece makes any difference to the sound of the guitar?
I figured it wouldn't effect the action of the guitar because the strings are still hitting the saddle (which controls the height of the strings to the fret board). Anyone ever tried it out? Did it make any difference at all?
The only thing I can think of as to why to do this would be more area of the string hitting the tail piece (which is screwed into the body) so possibly more resonance into the body wood. But that's about it. |
